I know I’m going to get a lot of hate for this, but hear me out. LeBron James will be better than Michael Jordan by the time he’s finished in the NBA.
Let’s just get some facts straight. LeBron is bigger, faster, and stronger than Michael. He impacts the game more then any other player in the league. He handles the ball way more than Michael ever did and he can play every position. Michael can’t do that!
Try to take your biases out of the picture. I’m not a big LeBron fan, but I can see when someone great comes along. LeBron’s a beast and there is no doubt about it.
Well Jordan didn’t have anybody on his team when he won six championships.
Are you kidding me? He had an array of all-stars and hall-of-famers on his team. He needed a hall-of-famer in Scottie Pippen and the greatest coach of all-time in Phil Jackson to get past the Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference Finals and finally win a title.
LeBron made it to the NBA Finals with Mo Williams and coach Mike Brown in 2007. He had nobody! He carried an entire franchise, an entire city, and an entire way-of-life in Cleveland. He made ABC want to broadcast Cavalier games! He made Miami the hottest city in town when he joined up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
LeBron already has three Most Valuable Player awards. He’ll probably get another one this up coming season, and the Heat are one of the favorite to win it all.
Again, I’m not hating on Michael, I think he is one of the greatest. His legacy will never be touched. If you were the best doctor in town, you’d be given the moniker of the Michael Jordan of doctors. I concede that LeBron will never match the popularity of Michael, but I assure you that LeBron is and will be the greatest of them all.
